A bit after noon we headed out to the airport, even though the flight didn’t leave until 3 pm. There was an enormous line-up in the international terminal, but it turned out to be a charter flight going back to Britain. We squeezed through it to get to the short line-up at the Cathay Pacific counter.
Check-in and security were quick, and we settled down at the gate to wait. The plane left on time, and somewhere towards Alaska they served us dinner. They were out of chicken, but the beef and potatoes dish was good. Shortly after that they closed the blinds and turned out the lights.
