Pictures from Snowdon
We stayed for four nights at the Snowdon Ranger youth hostel while we travelled around Wales.
We stayed in a little room with two beds on the top floor, with only a skylight to look out of.
There are many ways to hike up Snowdon, but we chose the most straightforward one. It starts at Pen y Pass, from where it is a fairly easy climb to the summit. As we started out there were a few showers, but after that there was no rain.
Our route was called the Miners' Track, because it was originally the route to a copper mine.
After the mine, the Miners' Track climbed up to Bwlch Glas, on the ridge leading to the summit of Snowdon.
At the summit we were in the clouds.
There was also a cold wind from the north blowing the clouds away, so that from time to time we had a reasonably good view.
