September 22 Fish River Canyon
The Fish River Canyon is said to be the second largest canyon in the world (after the Grand Canyon in Arizona) and also the second deepest in Africa (after the Blue Nile in Ethiopia).
There were quite a few desert flowers blooming near the canyon rim, just as there had been in Namaqualand.
We had dinner at the canyon overlook and waited for the sun to set.
